I feel awkward/anxious about going to a session, I'm not sure what I have to do?

There is no pressure to talk or share anything that feels uncomfortable. I work with you at a pace that suits you, with non judgement. As a highly sensitive person myself, I am sensitive to my clients unique needs.  You can choose a variety of options to help you feel more at ease including:


Lighting - dimly lit room to your preference

Background (calming) music - volume set to your preference
 
Blanket - to drape over yourself for comfort while talking

Eye contact - you are not required to use eye contact if it feels uncomfortable

Candle - a candle can be lit for you to focus on

Feedback - I am open to feedback and you can let me know (in person or via message) if anything during the sessions or any of the practices are making you feel uncomfortable and I will work to change them to suit your needs.

Duration of sessions - ​​you can choose a shorter session if you prefer (most sessions run for 60-90 minutes) . If at any time you are feeling highly anxious and want to slow things down, you can choose to lay on the massage table and I can give you energy healing and no talking is required during the energy healing if this will help you feel more relaxed. 




I am so anxious, stressed and confused, I don't even know what to say about what I am going through?

If you are unsure about how to express what you are experiencing that is ok, there is no need to discuss your anxiety in the first few sessions if you prefer not to (minimal talk is fine), I can focus on the energy healing first which will give me guidance on what practices to support you with and what direction to go with your program.

I can't meditate, will this program work for me?

Yes, I can support you to work through all the practices and tailor them to your needs.

I'm worried this program won't work, how do I know I will get any benefits?

I will support you each step of the way, you will be able to give me feedback on what is and isnt working and I will adjust the program to suit you best. I had this worry myself when I first sought help, so I understand this feeling.
 
I feel guilty doing things for myself, how can I do the practices and not feel guilty that I'm not attending to my other responsibilities?

Practicing taking care of yourself allows you to be the best version of you (patient, calm, fun, joyful, present, strong, resilient, etc), which will greatly benefit your family and loved ones. We cannot uplift others and give the best to them when we are running on empty. You are doing a great service to your family and community when you look after your wellbeing. You will be amazed at how much more energy you have when you practice self-care, achieving your goals with ease and enthusiasm.

I am worried I will feel judged, how can I feel more at ease?

My sessions are held with a deep sense of compassion and non-judgement, I am a passionate advocate for supporting women to accept all parts of themselves, especially that parts they feel ashamed of. I will not judge and will offer my deepest support for all aspects of you.


I feel like my anxiety problems are too big/too unique to solve, can that affect any progress?

As the program is tailored to your specific needs we can work together to create practices and techniques that best suit you to rewire your brain and regulate your nervous system. We will work together at a pace that suits you so that you get the most out of this program.  This is a common question my clients have and I can assure you, you can find improvement.

Nobody understands what I am going through, can you still help me?

With lived experience of severe anxiety and depression I can assure you that I know how it feels to be misunderstood and worry that nobody can help. How long are the sessions?

The first session is usually the longest (60 - 90 minutes) as I talk you through the basics of the program and ask you some questions to explore your specific goals for the sessions, your daily habits, reoccuring emotions, relationships etc.

The follow up sessions are usually 60 minutes
