Welcome to The Joy Workshop, Bringing more joy into your life is easier than you think and has a bigger impact on your entire life than you may realise. Being more joyful on a regular basis not only improves your mental and emotional wellbeing, it also improves your physical health and all the experiences you have in your life. Your relationships improve, new opportunities become apparent and your life takes you on more of a fun adventure. Joy is a natural state that we are supposed to be in most of the time. We have been sidetracked from this natural state through societal conditioning, limiting beliefs and other factors. We can, however, deliberately choose to bring more joy into our lives. Once it becomes a habit it is easier and easier to achieve. While joy was always meant to be our dominant state, this does not diminish the importance of our other emotions. This workshop is not about ignoring or suppressing other emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, grief etc. A practice to support you to gain the wisdom from negative emotions and then release them is included in the workshop (Releasing Emotions Practice). This workshop includes: Joy Meditation Releasing Emotions Practice Daily Joy practice ideas A Joy Journal with prompts Science backed fact sheets on the benefits of joy (singing and laughing) Joy affirmations All of these are designed to support you to consciously bring more joy into each day.
